Another "comment" I got on fanfiction net:

"Hi there! I hope I'm not causing any trouble, but I recently read "Unexpected Fate" and I genuinely enjoyed it. I've been thinking about adapting your story into my comic style, and I would be thrilled to bring it to life in that format. I believe you'll be pleased with the results, and perhaps you'd even consider sharing it once it's done.
I'm a skilled digital artist with professional experience, and I offer paid services for my work.
Summary: One Sindarin elf was born with a much greater Ósanwë gift than the others, which he discovered while still a child. Much later, as an adult, when he encounters an enemy after the battle, he will realize – thanks to his gift – that the encounter is very unusual.

Word-count: 4303

Notes: Ósanwë – Quenya-word meaning "interchange of thought"
I believe that, in the very beginning, the Elves didn't know what had happened to those who had vanished, that is, those grabbed by Melkor. But I think that, in time, they discovered it. The scouts could have discovered Angband and portended what was happening; Oromë could have warned them about Melkor's evil deeds, and some of the captured Elves might have been lucky enough to escape on time and informed the others.
Cairistiona, thank you for your help, as always. *hugs*

( Story under the cut )

comments

Has it really been a month since my last post?! :)

Anyway, I like my new job :))) I was quite confused in the first 7-10 days, many things were new to me, and there was *so much* to learn. But I had a mentor from the very first day, and little by little I learned it. I still have an occasional question for my mentor, but I am quite independent now.
One might say that administrative work is boring, and yes, some administrative jobs are not so interesting, but mine is ok. There are some parts of my job that are repetitive, but all in all, it's dynamic and interesting. I have been assigned to the criminal department of the court, so there are a lot of interesting cases in which I participate. Working hours are 8 - 4, and I have free evenings (unlike before), I have free weekends (unlike before), and salary is better.

Call me happy :)

comments

I haven't been here for about year and a half... and honestly, I would prefer to have just one journal (LJ), but in the past few days (weeks), I see that more and more of you use DW (and crosspost to LJ), so I decided to at least take a look here again.
It feels a little strange and I am a little confused - LJ feels more like home. But then, I don't like some new "improvements" on LJ. No, I don't want to leave it, not if I don't have to. But let's be prepared, just in case... What I'm sure of, is that I won't renew my paid account on LJ. I'm not giving them my money any more. Not for their "improvements".
Anyway, for now, I'm staying on LJ, and I'll probably post only on LJ. But in this post, I'll try crossposting.
And in the end, question for those of you with basic account on LJ - you can have 15 icons, if I remember correctly?

comments

I am not used to posting here and everything confuses me; a matter of habit, I guess. Anyway, I just want to say that I miss you all and I hope LJ will be back soon.

P.s. I'll try to crosspost this. Which is probably a bad idea, because 1) I've never done it before so I am not sure how to do it, 2) LJ is still partly down. But I'll try it anyway.

comments
