Posting on Dreamwidth - and feeling a little confused

I haven't been here for about year and a half... and honestly, I would prefer to have just one journal (LJ), but in the past few days (weeks), I see that more and more of you use DW (and crosspost to LJ), so I decided to at least take a look here again.
It feels a little strange and I am a little confused - LJ feels more like home. But then, I don't like some new "improvements" on LJ. No, I don't want to leave it, not if I don't have to. But let's be prepared, just in case... What I'm sure of, is that I won't renew my paid account on LJ. I'm not giving them my money any more. Not for their "improvements".
Anyway, for now, I'm staying on LJ, and I'll probably post only on LJ. But in this post, I'll try crossposting.
And in the end, question for those of you with basic account on LJ - you can have 15 icons, if I remember correctly?

I have 'subscribed' or whatever it is called here, to your journal in return for you having found me - but I have to say I really don't like dreamwidth very much. So I'll still be reading and commenting on LJ for the foreseeable future!

I plan to stay on LJ too, but I'd like to learn a few basic things about DW, just in case. Let's say that learning of crossposting is just a part of that - I had to try.
